Since our founding in the year 1999 by renowned nutritionist Liat Solomon the Down to Earth Company (DTE) has grown from one home-style kitchen to five different restaurants and marketplaces serving gourmet vegetarian foods. Our immensely popular locations sit in some of southern Bali's busiest and most dense population centers, including Ubud, Seminyak, and Sanur. In lively and tastefully-designed dining rooms we welcome and cater to everyone from curious tourists to expatriot Westerners who call Indonesia home. Our marketplaces are filled with items that promote healthy lifestyles, many of which are made using natural and sustainable ingredients by environmentally-conscious, local workforces. We serve only the finest vegan and vegetarian meals, drinks, and snacks (with the exception of ethically-sourced cow's milk, which is available upon request).
